Diagnosed and replaced faulty hard drive for a very reasonable price, kept me informed of potential hardware costs and gave advice on how to keep price down Vs longevity/part quality. Friendly staff, good quick service, and even gave the old rig a quick hoover - which was really nice! Would definitely recommend and am already packing up my partner's tower for a check-up with them. Very minor comment for improvement would be that they could possibly send a few more update emails to keep customers advised of order status/timelines etc. not a criticism as they were super helpful when contacted, but might be a way of saving on incoming calls about existing orders/parts/etc. Still 10/10 though

Needed a repair to a dead laptop so dropped in with it. After discussion Stuart suggested he go through a full diagnostic (with a small charge) which I was happy to go ahead with. The motherboard was dead which was not a surprise due to age. He also took photos of where it was damaged. He suggested sourcing a replacement from certified reseller (it's about 8 years old now!). We agreed a good price which included all the work doing and discounting against the diagnostic. Stuart kept me informed throughout the whole process and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Had an urgent repair (turned out the hard drive needed to be replaced) - I called up first thing on Saturday morning, and Stuart had it ready for me to collect by the end of the day. Really helpful, really friendly, explained everything clearly. I won't be going anywhere else in the future!

I contacted Stuart after a recommendation and cannot fault his service. My son wanted a gaming pc and I hadnt got a clue. Having found myself locked out of my Desktop PC question was who to turn to? Who can I trust?. Searched the Web & found PC Active Wigston. Rang and spoke to Stuart explained my problem he invited me into their Shop from where he performed an initial test. Diagnosis wasn't good but he assured me it can be fixed without breaking the Bank of England. Having read many positive reviews about their business I decided to follow Stuarts advice and hey presto I now have a PC that puts a smile on my face and is a joy to use it.

I have since given him a Laptop belonging to my Grandson and again super quick turnaround for just a few quid and that's also fixed. Should anyone need a Computer Guru who's understanding, skilled and totally committed to his cause then look no further. Great service. My son had a problem with his Gaming PC that he had been building himself. We took it into PC Active and they quickly diagnosed the problem (it was our fault - we had installed an incompatible component) and gave great advice and support getting the new piece installed and working.

Brilliant service from Lee & partner following a broken laptop. In the end I bought a new one and they checked what I used it for before recommending and transferring all my files so that all I had to do was switch it on when I got home! I really appreciated their patience and help.

I am so glad PC Active repair people out there who are competent, friendly and fair. I took a laptop in to have its broken power jack repaired. I was told that the Toshiba brand is known to have those issues. It was fixed and ready for me in a few days. I was very happy with the fast and courteous service they were given to me. Just got a gaming laptop from here (MSI GT70 Dominator). Very friendly and helpful advice and they are happy to show their competitive prices against next best deals (I had shopped around too). Great deal as always with the laptop arriving in the shop the day next day.
