I was in a massive panic as my Mac laptop, on which I had stored three-plus years of my novel work-in-progress drafts and research notes, etc, had completely died, and I could do nothing to resolve it myself. I called Michael at CIT as I had read good reviews of his services and did not wish to return to another local company used previously in an attempt to fix the internal microphones, as this was both unsuccessful and expensive. Although his initial diagnostics made it seem impossible to fix, he offered to reboot it completely from scratch and insert a new SSD card + cable (my old one was quite battered).

Amazingly, this not only worked and restored my Mac, giving it a brand-new and easier-to-use log in, but he also recovered all my necessary files and assured me my Mac should now last a good few years so I would not need to shell out to buy a new one immediately as feared. I am really grateful for his calm and helpful work and would recommend him to anyone as a first port of call for computer problems. He really saved the day for me!

Went in with a PC not starting up, the fault was diagnosed almost instantly and a solution agreed. The solution worked, was cost effective and quick. Could not have been more helpful. This is the second time I have used CIT and both times the service has been successful and pleasant to work with.
