After speaking to The PC Surgeon about noise from my PC, I was reassured that there was nothing to worry about and to NOT do anything unless the noise became unbearable. It would have been easy for them to sell me a replacement part / charge me to look at the PC. But that's not their style. PC Surgeon will be my first port of call going forward for any PC or similar issues

Worse than useless - don't waste your time. They claim that they don't charge to diagnose problems but its a con. I left my sons PC with them and a few hours later was told over the phone that they want 70 "for further diagnosis". When questioned on what diagnosis they had actually done they came back with "discharged the power supply" and "other tests".
When I went back to collect the PC they admitted that they hadn't even opened the case! In short a collection of opportunistic crooks that hope to prey on customers with little or no knowledge. AVOID!
