| Job description: | Delphi 7 programmer wanted for on-location contract (London SE24). The job is a compilation of a wordprocessor components which I have created for the last 23 years. The job will be done in two weeks full time 8 hours a day and another part time two weeks for testing. |
| Duties & Responsibilities: | Tasks: Compile word-processor source code (WpTools), using Delphi 7.0 Modify the Character Map function (Insert Symbol) within WpTools to fit the application requirements Incorporate a mirror-image function enabling the program to refer to the Egyptian fonts facing the right side and thus enabling the text to face right or left by pressing a button Link tutorial files (HTML and PDF) and incorporate independent HTML and PDF viewers in the application Link tutorial files (HTML and PDF) and incorporate independent HTML and PDF viewers in the application Install font encoding file, using the same structure as in an existing Delphi 2.0 source code Create a resource file for the Egyptian fonts, so they would be used only within the application Advise in writing the technical Help file Create the Installation programme and template, so that the client can reproduce the Installation procedure for each master copy of the application Create Security subroutines, using hardware (dongle) and software to protect the executable files from being copied or tampered with and create a template which can be applied to each master copy of the application Note: source code, hardware and software will be provided by the client. |
| Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required: | Candidates must be expert in Delphi 7.0, font management, object-oriented programming, use of WpTools, hardware and software dongle security subroutines, setup and testing. |
