With over 30 years experience in the computer industry, we pride ourselves in offering a complete service at a very reasonable cost in Newcastle & the North East. We cover the commerical & residential markets to get and keep customers up and running as quick as possible for the long term. The recent Recession prompted many companies to get longer life from their IT. PC sales dropped and many companies rather than replace computers opted for IT Support Contracts - effectively a business outsources the IT support to a third party in return for a fee.


Remote Support is charged in 30 minute Units. The charge for each Unit starts in the first minute of each 30 minute session. Therefore the first Unit is due as soon as the work commences, the second Unit is due from the 31st minute onwards, and so on. Pc-Direct operates a "No Fix - No Fee" policy, although there are certain exceptions to this policy, in which case the job will be classed as being chargeable in any event. The Booking Administrator will inform you if the "No Fix - No Fee" policy does not apply when giving you the specific booking details.


We know all to well how important your laptop or tower is to you and when something does go wrong, you are at a loss without it, that's why here at Pc-Direct we do our utmost to rectify problems and perform repairs/upgrades as fast as possible without cutting corners. We aim to respond to each job and and complete within 24hrs although most are completed within 2-3hrs and you can be kept up to date at any time of the progress at hand by text or by telephone. Just the machine (no leads, monitors, keyboard or mouse) unless we need to install an external item for you, Also bring any software you need us to install.


Yes, and even we admit that it wasn't all that long ago that we had no choice but to make a "service call" in person to our customers location. They would call us, make an appointment, then they would need to be sure to be home to meet us in person. Don't get us wrong, they were happy to do so as our support is top notch. There just wasn't an efficient way to log into a machine remotely to make repairs. But as the old saying goes "times, they are a changin". We do offer a NO FIX NO FEE, If we cannot fix your computer there is no fee (remote fee will be refunded).
