The company was established in 2004 and changed it's name from mobile computer services to OurTechGuy in 2012 as the owner Gordon Southgate felt that the name OurTechGuy helped customers identify with the business services. The business head office is situated in Chorley Lancashire.
An associate company of plain English enthusiastic engineers, technicians and consultants, OurTechGuy has a professional team, qualified to degree level or vocational equivalent. Each engineer is Microsoft Certified, CRB checked and fully insured.

Products are sourced to match individual business requirements, the product range includes laptops, computers, switches, routers, CCTV equipment, software and websites. The products are available by consultation only.

The company is managed by Gordon Southgate who has been involved in the computing business over 17 years working for householders, small to medium sized businesses and larger corporations on a consultancy level. Gordon gained his honours degree in Marketing and Business Information Technology at the University of Paisley in Scotland. Later gaining the much accredited Microsoft Certified Engineer Status. Gordon also holds two HNC certificates in Computing and Marketing.

when my laptop would not work I saw ourtechguy read the reviews and liked what I read. got in contact and took my laptop to his house. I was informed later that day what was wrong, a price was agreed and I had a fully working laptop back the next day. On collection Gordon took time to show me how things worked. A fantastic and very quick service.
I was upset as my laptop froze with my uni work when I had a deadline coming up. Gordon was contactable late a night and gave some great advice over the phone - he then went onto fix my computer the next day and get it back to me in time to meet the deadline - he is a life saver in my eyes!! What I thought was going to be extremely expensive was not - definite 5 stars from me - friendly, efficient and professional - thank you :)
I am very impressed with the level of service provided by Gordon.
He managed to resolve some very unusual i-tunes software issues on my old laptop and basically bring it back from the dead. The laptop is running much better all round now.
