I first met David in the early 1990s when I was using an Apple 2E computer with a black screen and white text. I needed help in switching to a PC. David helped me to obtain my first PC and printer (and my first mouse!) and set it up. He instructed me in the use of the equipment and was always available when I ran into trouble. He also helped me obtain my first scanner. Since then he has guided me through 3 more computers and two more printers, keeping me up to date with the latest Microsoft programmes, and recently has taken me from Windows XP, to Vista and now Windows 7. He advised many years ago re Internet connections and 4 years ago set up the broadband router and connections for me. He is always available at the end of a telephone if things go wrong, and has solved many software and hardware problems and has instructed me in the use of various applications.
