2getherITworks has been set up to offer a unique service in the Flintshire and Chester area. We are in business to help those over 60's or so called 'Silver Surfers' to offer PC and Laptop tuition, from the very basics (including helping you choose the right pc or laptop for your needs, in order to stop the sales people taking advantage in larger stores), to PC and Laptop repairs at your home or you can use our pick up and return service (small fuel charge if outside 3 mile radius of our office).

Phil Woods, the company owner and founder started this business recently after 17 years in the computer industry. Following on from his personal experiance he looked locally for a service for the over 60's and found there wasn't any help out there. Phil decided it was about time something was done about this and so 2getherITworks was formed.

It may sound like a strange name but it's a simple one and a simple reason for using it. It reads Together IT Works, meaning that despite your age you can still get onto the internet and use a PC. There are many people over 60 who enjoy using the internet or PC for many reasons. Recently I had a call from an 84 year old who's netbook had stopped working, she uses Skype to contact her grandchildren living abroad. My father who is 71 soon loves using his laptop, despite it taking him 2 years to actually start using it, I got there eventually with him.

One of the biggest issues these days is viruses, regardless of people having anti-virus and firewalls etc they still manage to pick up a virus. A virus is not easy to get rid of, sometimes they embed themselves so deep that even a simple restore won't do. We offer a full virus removal service for only J35. Back ups start from J10 but we always advise our customers (in fact everyone we speak to) to make sure they do regular back ups of their photos and documents etc. If you don't know how to complete a back up give us a call.

PC and Laptop Tuition J25 per hour From the very basics (including help in buying your first computer, stopping sales people taking advantage) to helping you get more out of your PC or Laptop. Whatever you want to learn, give us a call and we will see if we can help you. We have a wealth of experiance with many software packages, therefore we are able to give tuition in most circumstances.

Virus Removal J35 If your computer is running slowly or you are getting annoying pop ups from a rogue anti-virus company telling you your computer is full of viruses, then you have a virus. These days most viruses embed themselves so deep that to get rid of it completely and properly call the experts. We can make sure that your computer is free of any virus and runs as if it was new.

Pick up and Return Service 50p per mile outside a 3 mile Radius (free inside 3 miles) If you live within 3 miles of our office we will pick up your PC or Laptop and return it to you for FREE. Outside 3 miles we charge 50p per mile for the service so if you lived 13 miles away you would pay an extra J5 so you don't have to leave your home. We will come and get the computer, take it away, repair it and then return it to you.

Online PC Software Repairs J15 per hour If you are having an issue with software on your PC or Laptop we can connect to your PC live via the internet and try and resolve your issue while you sit back and relax. You can even watch as we take control of your computer and repair it for you. We use a secure service for this which gives you full control. Without a passcode generated every time on your computer we cannot connect. The service we use gives us 30 minutes at a time before a new code needs to be generated and you can decide to shut it off at any moment. Many people worry about this kind of service but there is nothing to worry about as only YOU can give people permission to access your computer.
